Chloë Arnould
Chloë Arnould was born in Manhattan (along with her twin brother). She grew up primarily in Toronto and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Western Ontario. She held a number of jobs including teacher’s assistant for children with learning disabilities and cub reporter for a weekly rural newspaper in northern Ontario. Chloë eventually ended up in the advertising industry and remained there for over 2 decades in print sales where she learned about business. Her sales approach often included selling her own creative concepts for clients. On the side she doodled or painted on canvas or scrap paper. Sometimes she would turn these into cards and give them to friends or family. Soon people started requesting new ones, which eventually led to her launching Bellartisan in 2003, a company with cards for all occasions. Chloë added other artists’ works to the collection.
